Trash Pickup

Trash is picked up every Monday in Michiana Shores, except for holidays. If your refuse/trash/garbage has been missed by Republic Services, please leave your receptacle at the street and call Republic Services at (219) 926-1046 no later than 10:00 AM the following morning so that they can schedule a pick up for you. Alternatively, you may call the Town Office and leave a message. If a holiday falls on a Monday, garbage will be picked up the following day.

REMEMBER: Set your receptacle out at the curb before 7:00 AM on Monday morning. Make sure that the can is closed, and any additional overflow trash is protected from predation by the local wildlife. The refuse service does not collect the trash that is strewn about outside your container.
